Cpl Ross, Scott: Member ship

I am interested in joining the Leathernecks Confederation Chapter 10 in Fort worth . I am a Marine with a honorable discharge. Most of the Marine Clubs require American made Motor cycles. I ride a Suzuki Bandit. I like the fact that You accept Marines know matter what they ride. We still have 2 things in common we like to Ride and we all are marines. I would like to get to know some of the Members here to decide if i would like to join your MC .

My name is Ken Ewing.  I live in Winnie, TX, near Galveston and Beaumont.  I am a former FMF Corpsman of Desert Storm.  A few years ago I was at the Lone Star Rally with my wife and we met some of your brothers and sisters.  We spoke and partied with them for hours that day and I caan't begin to tell you what a great bunch of people you were.  I've been doing research on different MC's, with the possibility of joining.  I can't think of any that I would rather be associated with then you guys.  I'm sorry that I can't recall the names of the Leathernecks we met, but I will never forget the common respect we shared for each other.  I know you don't know me from Adam, but I can tell you this...I lived and breathed the Corps.  I wore the Marine uniform and did everything a Marine did when I was in the military.  I never rode in the hummer.  If they ran 10 miles, so did I, with my unit one pack on my back.  I took care of my Marines and in return they took care of me.  Today I would gladly defend or give my life for any true Marine.  If that sounds like something you would like to be associated with, then please feel free to contact me.  I would love to be part of your MC.  Semper Fi and God Bless!

Carolyn Wilson: Hello!

I frequently hear the nearby rumbling sound of a Harley, slightly vibrating the windows of my house, and it sounds really awesome & powerful to me - a roar that commands respect!  I also notice our American flag frequently displayed in front of the same location - my neighbor's house 2 doors down, which belongs to Carl & Cheryl Kuhn, whom I've never had the pleasure of meeting, and I've lived here for 5 years.  That's sad, huh? Not to know your closest neighbors?

I'm happy to discover that Carl is an ex-Marine and "Leatherneck" and, as a fellow American, I'm very proud of his involvement in the club and what it represents.

Hats off to all you wonderful people. Thanks for all you do and God bless you!

Sincerely,

Carolyn Wilson

Wendy: SAPGR (top drops, still a cage)

Just wanted to say hello.  It was an honor to meet some of y'all from the San Antonio Chapter, when The Patriot Guard stood with you to pay our respects to one of your fallen brothers, one of my heros.  May God watch over all of our brave warriors, past & present.  Thank you for all you've done & all you do.  I'd like to send out a special "Thank you" to our Vietnam Veterans.  Your thank you is long over due.  Ride safe, Leathernecks.

Always faithful, Wendy SAPGR
